SBSvariety show‘Running Man’memberLee Kwang Soogave the netizens something to laugh about with a photo ofKim Jong Kook‘s nametag framed.

Lee Kwang Soo tweeted on the 7th, “My mom has framed the nametag which I took off from Jong Kook hyung’s back”, and he revealed the photo above. The photo revealed shows Kim Jong Kook’s nametag from ‘Running Man’ framed and hung on the wall.

The nametag is from the August 5th episode in which Lee Kwang Soo had betrayed Kim Jong Kook to take his tag off. ActressHan Ji Minmade a guest appearance on this episode and the filming took place inJeju Islandfor a race to win the vacation allowance.

Lee Kwang Soo,Ji Suk Jin, Song Ji Hyo, and Kim Jong Kook were on the same team, but he along with Ji Suk Jin teamed up with the opposing team ofHan Ji Min, Yoo Jae Suk, Gary, andHaHato take Kim Jong Kook’s nametag off. Kim Jong Kook looked as though he had won a physical battle against Yoo Jae Suk, Gary, and HaHa, but he could not foresee Lee Kwang Soo’s betrayal. After the deed was done Kim Jong Kook was seen fuming in anger and Lee Kwang Soo looked pleased to have successfully defeated Sparta.

Netizens commented on Lee Kwang Soo’s tweet, “His mom actually framed that to commemorate her son’s victory? lol”, “His mom’s so cool! Very funny too”, “I laughed so hard I almost fainted.. I think this picture will become a legend”, and so on.

On the August 5th installment ofSBS’s ‘Running Man’, the ‘Vacation Money Race’ went underway with actressHan Ji Minas a guest.

Yoo Jae Suk had spent more than he could afford earlier in the day so he could not pay the fees to take a shower at the Bed & Breakfast.In order to take a shower, Yoo Jae Suk came up with a trick. Yoo Jae Suk decided to jump into the shower of another ‘Running Man’ member on the opposite team.

Yoo Jae Suk andGarywent into the Bed & Breakfast that the opposite team was staying in. Gary jumped in, to take a shower whereJi Suk Jinwas and Yoo Jae Suk surprised Lee Kwang Soo, jumping into the bathroom where Lee Kwang Soo was taking a shower. Lee Kwang Soo was so taken aback by Yoo Jae Suk that he screamed but then was speechless.

Kim Jong Kookran over at Lee Kwang Soo’s scream and found Yoo Jae Suk taking a shower so he complained about it. Yoo Jae Suk took a great shower with naked Lee Kwang Soo as a hostage and brought much laughter to the viewers.

Actress Han Ji Min also added some fun to the episode commenting about her beauty, “I was pretty from (my mom’s) womb” and made everyone laugh with her beauty that apparantly comes complete with a sense of humor.

Han Ji Minshowed up on‘Running Man’.

Han Ji Min will appear onSBS‘s ‘Running Man’ on August 5th for some amazing missions inJeju-doalongside the ‘Running Man’ members.

At Han Ji Min’s appearance as the special guest, ‘Running Man’ members were excited asking, “Is this really Han Ji Min?”

The race in Jeju-do was a fierce competition. The beach in Jeju-do, Maze Theme Park, and dirt pig (aka, black pig) restaurant were among some of the locations that brought the feel of Jeju-do full on to the viewers. The episode is expected to bring the special beauty of Jeju-do onto the small screen.

Han Ji Min is said to have truly surprised with some excellent feel for variety and unexpected level of competitiveness. The twist at the final location of the race is said to have surprised everyone.

The Jeju-do episode of ‘Running Man’ with Han Ji Min will air on August 5th at 6:10pm.

Variety shows such as ‘Infinity Challenge‘ and ‘Running Man‘ are reportedly becoming more popular in North Korea.

In a report titled ‘Hallyu Becoming North Korea’s Mainstream Culture’, Saenuri Party’sYoon Sang Hyunwho is also a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, Foreign Affairs, Trade, & Unification Committee remarked, “According to the government authorities and other North Korean sources, the citizens of North Korea enjoy programs such as SBS ‘Running Man’, KBS 2TV’s ‘1N2D‘, MBC’s ‘Infinity Challenge’, amongst other variety and music programs.”

According to assemblyman Yoon Sang Hyun, the citizens are able to obtain Korean dramas, and they are also tuning into some American programs as well.

As Hallyu becomes more mainstream in North Korea, top celebrities such asJang Dong Gun,Kim Nam Joo,Shin Min Ah,Yoo JaeSuk,Kang HoDong, amongst other stars are also growing popular in the local area.

Yoon continued, “In North Korea, teens are alienated and left out of conversations if they are not familiar with South Korean dramas, and because of young military soliders who are unable to quit watching Korean videos even after enlisting in the army, they are now implementing moral education.”

So, while I was on Twitter, I saw some Running Man fanbases saying Running Man would not be airing for the next three weeks D:

But, the source updated again saying that it will only be delayed for a week due to Olympic games. Broadcast will resume on the 5th August (Episode 105)

Thank god! It is only for one week ^^ In the meantime, enjoy the Olympic games everyone. Running Man will resume per normal after this week which means today there would not be the airing of the 105th episode.

Nevertheless, I hope everyone will enjoy watching the Olympic games. There is nothing to worry about as Running Man will resume per normal after this week ^^

ActorJang Hyukchallenged his best friendKim Jong Kookon variety.

Jang Hyuk made a guest appearance on the July 24th episode ofKBS ‘Win Win’as the ‘Secret Guest’ of the episode’s main guest, actorCha Tae Hyun.

Cha Tae Hyun spoke about his friend Jang Hyuk,“Jang Hyuk’s a really funny guy. All our friends know he’s great in variety too”, and praised Jang Hyuk’s sense of humor.

After receiving some confidence boost from his friend Jang Hyuk stated, “With my variety feel I can be better thanSBS ‘Running Man’s Kim Jong Kook”, and the MCs burst into laughter.

Jang Hyuk, Cha Tae Hyun, and Kim Jong Kook have been best friends for over a decade and they’re well known to playfully talk smack about each other on TV.

Then MCLee Soo Geunasked Jang Hyuk, “Would you like to be on ‘Running Man’ or on’1 Night 2 Days’?”, and Jang Hyuk answered, “1 Night 2 Days.”

Jang Hyuk was also asked which of the ‘Win Win’ MCs he’d choose to go on a ’1 Night 2 Day’s get away and he picked MCKim Seung Woo. Lee Soo Geun then made everyone laugh by asking, “Is it because you think you can be better at variety than Kim Seung Woo?”, poking fun at Kim Seung Woo’s less than polished feel for variety as a newbie in the field.
